Ami Trivedi Ji talks about her diet, fitness and spirituality!!

Ami Trivedi: If you exercise and eat healthy food you can deal with life in a better way.

Body:-

Fitness – “Fitness to me means being healthy emotionally, mentally and physically. I am particular about my exercise regime. In spite of my hectic shooting schedule I manage to go to the gym four days a week and exercise for an hour. I run on the treadmill, cycle and use the cross trainer. I enjoy brisk walking between my shots, as the set of one of my serials is amidst lush greenery. Also I love dancing and most of my shows have many dance scenes incorporated so all that also helps me stay physically active.
Diet – I am a vegetarian and prefer eating at regular intervals and avoid fried food. My breakfast is poha, vermicelli or a sandwich. Lunch is two rotis, rice, veggies, curd and salad. In the evenings, I have tea and a few biscuits. Dinner is early and usually the same as lunch. If I am hungry later at night, I drink milk.

Mind:-
I am by nature a calm person and don’t get hyper about small things. I think if you exercise and eat healthy food you can deal with life in a better way. Honestly, at present my favourite recreational activity is to catch up on sleep. I am a nature lover and love being outdoors; it is relaxing. For me travelling is usually combined with some adventure sport. When on holiday I like trekking, horse riding, rifle shooting or river rafting. I also enjoy gardening and tending to my plants.

Spirit:-
I believe in the power of the Supreme Being and also in the power of prayers and positive thinking. Positive thoughts and energy are essential for success. Ones thought process is very important. A positive mental attitude is the belief that one can increase achievement through optimistic thoughts. Prayer is the simplest and most effective way of reconnecting, and staying connected, with the Supreme. The power of prayer can also help us to believe and affirm that amazing things are possible in our life. I do not follow any rituals but I do visit the Mahim church every Wednesday; it gives me sense of peace.
Rhonda Byrne’s The Secret has really inspired me in life. My motto is to live and let live.”
